Chrysanthemums, ferns, palms and lighted cathedral candles formed the setting for the marriage of Miss Mary Janet Fraser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Fraser, 4331 Fremont avenue south, and Mr. Willard Alden Morse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard W. Morse, which was solemnized last night at 8 o'clock at the Plymouth Congregational church. The Rev. H. D. Dewey read the service.

A program of nuptial music was played before and during the ceremony by Mr. Hamlin Hunt, organist.

Mrs. Harvard Rockwell (Mildred Morse) was Miss Fraser's matron of honor. She wore her wedding gown of white satin and carried an arm bouquet of Premier roses. Miss Katherine Fraser, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Her gown was made of robin's egg blue georgette crepe and she carried Columbia roses. Miss Caroline Fraser, another sister, and Miss Adrienne Warner were the bridesmaids. Miss Fraser wore a gown of pink georgette crepe and carried Ophelia roses, and Miss Warner's gown was of pale green georgette fashioned over flesh covered satin. She carried Ophelia roses.

Mr. Guilford Morse of Boise, Idaho, attended his brother as best man. The ushers were Messrs. Howard Rockwell the bridegroom's brother-in-law, Donald Fraser, brother of the bride, Donald Hudson, Frank Pearce, Gordon Grimes and Elden Ellwell.

The bride's gown was of white satin made with a full court train falling from the shoulders. The bodice was made of Rosaline lace fashioned with a round neck and tulle sleeves. Her tulle veil was held in place with orange blossoms. The bridal bouquet was a shower of bride's roses and orchids.

A reception at the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony. Receiving with the bride and bridegroom were Mr. and Mrs. Fraser and Mr. and Mrs. Morse. Smilax, chrysanthemums and roses were used in the decorations throughout the rooms. A color scheme of pink was carried out in the dining room.

Mr. and Mrs. Morse left on their wedding trip. They will be at home after January 1 at 2315 Irving avenue south.

The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Guilford Morse of Boise, Idaho.

Willard Morse Sr., retired president of warehouse firm

Willard A. Morse Sr., 97, longtime president and chairman of the board of the old Security Warehouse Co., died Tuesday at the Hillcrest Health Care and Retirement Center in Minnetonka.

He started as a manager at Security Warehouse in 1912 and was head of the downtown Minneapolis company from 1948 until he retired in 1963.

For 25 years, Morse was treasurer of the American Warehousemen's Association. He was a former director of the American Chain of Warehouses, and for 16 years, was on the legislative committee of the Minnesota Northwest Warehousemen's Association.

Morse was a partner in Stainless and Steel Products, and Morse-Hubbard Potato Distributors, two other area companies now also out of business.

He was former chairman of Morse Foundation and on the boards of several other foundations. He also was a benefactor to a variety of groups, said his son, Willard Jr. of Bloomington, including Abbot Northwestern Hospital, the Minneapolis Art Institute and Plymouth Congregational Church.

Morse was a former trustee, board chairman and head of the building committee at the church.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1912 and was in the Army during World War I.

Morse had been a member of the Minneapolis and Lafayette clubs and, for more than 60 years, of the University Masonic Lodge. He was president of the Lowry Hill Home Owners Association in the 1950s.

He also is survived by son Fraser of Minneapolis; daughter Mary J. Cargill of Edina; sister Priscilla Morse Richardson of Zellwood, Fla.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1900 Nicollet Av. S., Minneapolis. The family suggests memorials to the church or the charity of the donor's choice.
