Nevel Rodgers has sold his farm, containing 104 1/2 acres, to William Byrd, for the sum of $6,000, or about $75 per acre. Mr. Rogers paid $49 per acre for this farm a few years since. Mr. R. also sold a portion of his "Waverlie" estate to Benjamin Wenger, jr., for $8,000, or at the rate of $60 per acre. These prices show that good lands in Rockingham still maintain good prices.
