Marriage Announcements and News

News and Courant, May 5, 190410013

KINGSTON.

A happy marriage occurred at the residence of Mr. J. D. Rogers, the brother of the bride, at 11 a. m. April 28th, Dr. T. L. Arnold, of Ford, and Miss Lucy Rogers, Rev. J. M. Tumlin, pastor of the Methodist church, united them in holy matrimony with the beautiful ritual of his church. The bride looked charming, gowned in blue silk. After the congratulations of their many friends, the happy couple left for their home at Ford, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Rogers and Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Griffin. Dr. Arnold is well known as a successful practicing physician in Bartow county, and is very highly respected as a good citizen. The bride is universally beloved by all who know her, and we are loth to give her up. They leave Kingston with the good wishes of the entire community, all wishing them a long, useful and happy life.

The bride and groom attended services at the Methodist church Sunday, May 1st, and we were glad to see them. Rev. Mr. Tumlin preached a very interesting sermon.
