ROBERT HENRY SMITH, son of MARY SCOTT and ABRAHAM SMITH, was born September 2, 1817,2200 and died about February, 1863.2949

He married VIRGINIA JANE VAN PELT on July 15, 1845 in Rockingham County, Virginia.2201 She died February 17, 1859 in Harrisonburg, Rockingham, Virginia.2209
