Marcus G. Sprague, sixty-eight, 753 Front avenue, died suddenly yesterday afternoon about 4 o'clock, apparently of a heart attack, while working at Smith's service station, Center and West State streets. He was reported to have been putting tire chains on an automobile at the time of the attack.
Mr. Sprague was born in Mansfield, but had lived in Salamanca most of his life. He was a member of the Free Methodist church at West Salamanca.
Besides his wife, Mrs. George A. Sprague, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Foster, Rochester, and Mrs. Charles Rice, xx Messenger street; two sisters, Mrs. May Mink of Falconer, and Mrs. Hazel Woodard of Little Valley; a brother, Benjamin Sprague of California, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. at the home. The Rev. Perry F. Haines and the Rev. Albert Jolly, Cattaraugus, will officiate. Burial will be in Rural cemetery, Little Valley.

ROCHESTER — Georgianna Sprague, [unreadable] here yesterday (January 23, 1980) at the age of 89.
She was born in Irving Mills and was the daughter of Essie and Addison Hutchison. Her husband, Marcus Sprague, died in December, 1946.
Mrs. Sprague was a former Salamanca resident and a former member of the West End United Methodist Church here. She moved to Rochester in 1947.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. [unreadable] Georgia Rice of 36 Cottage Ave., Salamanca; four grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Alva Holloran Funeral Home in Rochester on Friday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral and committal services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.
