Al T. Sutherland Former Resident Dies at Age 72

Al T. Sutherland, a former president of the Madison Credit Bureau, and past business manager of Madison General Hospital, died at his home in San Diego, Calif., Aug. 18 at the age of 72.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lee Moore; one son, Jack B. Sutherland, Erie, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Merle Van Tassel; one brother, Herbert Sutherland, and one niece, Mrs. Jessica Zunke, all of Milwaukee.

Funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ritter Funeral Home, 5310 W. North Ave., Milwaukee. Private internment will be at the Valhalla Cemetery.

Sutherland, Mrs. Lee Waine Moore

ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA — Mrs. Lee Waine Moore Sutherland, age 82, died on Tuesday, July 10, 1984, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was a retired Secretary to the President of the National Guardian Life Insurance Company in Madison, Wisconsin. Survivors include a son, Jack B. Sutherland of Tega Cay, South Carolina. Memorial graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 19, at 2:00 p.m., at Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. The Bass Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
