Oshkosh Girl Is Bride of Marion Man

J. Q. Adams and Miss Mary Sutherland United in Marriage at Home Wedding

Miss Mary Sutherland, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Justus Sutherland, became the bride of J. Q. Adams of Marion, Wis., son of Mrs. Klawiter, of Marion, at a charming wedding at the home of her parents, 7 Frederick avenue, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. James A. Daum, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony.

Attending the couple were Miss Dorothy Sutherland, the bride's sister, and Douglas Adams, a brother of the groom.

The bride wore an attractive frock of salmon shade crepe with slippers of the sam color. Her bouquet was of roses and white freesia. A gown of brown crepe, with corresponding accessories, was worn by the bridesmaid, and she carried a bouquet of roses and sweetpeas.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to the immediate friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Adams then left for a motor trip. They will tour through the middle western states and will return in about a month to West Allis, Wis., where they will reside.

Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wick of Clintonville, Mrs. William Wilkinson of West Allis and Miss Janet Diedrich, also of West Allis.

Previous to her marriage several parties were given in honor of Mrs. Adams.

She was a member of Park Lake Presbyterian Church. Survivors: son, David B., Orlando, John J., Needham; sister, Dorothy La May, Oshkosh, Wis.; husband, John Q.; seven grandchildren.
