DR. ARICK SUTHERLAND, son of MARIA WESSEL and JUSTUS SYLVESTER SUTHERLAND, was born July 15, 1845 in Wisconsin,⁴⁷⁹⁹ and died November 10, 1921 in Brodhead, Green, Wisconsin.⁷⁶⁸⁶ He is buried in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Juda, Green, Wisconsin.⁴⁵⁶

He married CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH BALL on October 20, 1867 in Green County, Wisconsin.⁴²¹ She was born January 27, 1849 in Sylvester, Green, Wisconsin,⁷⁶⁸⁵ and died March 3, 1940 in Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin.⁷⁶⁸⁵ She is buried in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Juda, Green, Wisconsin.^{7685, 456}

Dr. Arick Sutherland

Brodhed.—Dr. Arick Sutherland, about 75 years old, a practicing physician of this city for more than 20 years; died suddenly at his home here Thursday night. Unable to sleep, he arose from his bed, and sat in a chair and was found a short time later, dead. He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.

OSHKOSH WOMAN, 91, DIES OF PNEUMONIA AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

Mrs. Charlotte Elizabeth Sutherland, 91, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Krueger, 12 Frederick avenue, at 11 o'clock Sunday evening. Death was the result of pneumonia and followed a short illness. She had been in good health for one of her advanced age until last week when she became ill with pneumonia.

Mrs. Sutherland was born at Sylvester in Green county, Wisconsin, Jan. 27, 1849. She had lived in Oshkosh for the last 16 years, living with her daughter, Mrs. Krueger, and with her son, Dr. Justus Sutherland.

She was the wife of the late Dr. Arick Sutherland.

Surviving are five children, L. A. Sutherland, Albany, Wis.; Mrs. Byron Stephenson, Albany; Mrs. A. J. Provost, Oak Park, Ill.; and Dr. Sutherland and Mrs. Krueger of this city.

There are also 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a number of great-great-grandchildren. A brother, Frederick, Deball, Madison, S. D., also survives.

The body will be taken to Brodhead for services Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be in the cemetery at Juda, Wis. Friends may call at the Konrad funeral home after 9 o'clock this evening.
