Sutherland-Nordby

Mrs. Nina M. Sutherland, 23 E. Johnson st., announces the marriage of her daughter, Sylvia, to Harold Nordby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sigard Nordby, on June 26 in the First Congregational church at Pecatimoic, Ill. After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Nordby will make their home in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Harold Norby

Mrs. Sylvia Norby, 48, Milwaukee, a native of Madison, died Sunday in a Milwaukee hospital after an extended illness. She had lived in that city for about 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Norby, one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Bert; her mother, Mrs. Nina Sutherland, Madison; four brothers, Arick, Jack, and Robert J. Sutherland, all of Madison, and Hyland Sutherland, Phoenix, Ariz., and two sisters, Miss Ruth Sutherland, Madison and Mrs. Kathryn Crow, Phoenix.

Funeral rites will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Schmidt and Bartelt funeral home, 5050 W. Vliet st., Milwaukee, and burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park there.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6 to 9.
