Graveside Services For James H. Ulmer

Graveside services for James H. Ulmer, 72, Denver, Colo. formerly of Bedford and Hopkins, were held Feb. 26 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver. Ulmer died Feb. 22 in a Denver hospital after a long illness.

He was born May 28, 1900, in Hopkins, and reared in Missouri. On March 24, 1923, he married Miss Hazel G. Golding in Bedford, Iowa.

Ulmer was the first city mail carrier in Bedford when service started about 1927. In 1942 he moved to Denver, where he worked for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement in 1962.
