Lynn Harley Webb, 48, of California, son of Oscar Webb of Hopkins, met his untimely death in a traffic accident December 12 at Summit City, Calif. The accident occurred at about 4:30 p. m., Dec. 10, and Lynn passed away at 9 a. m. December 11 in the hospital at Redding, Calif.
Lynn was born March 15, 1906 in Hopkins, Mo., the eldest of six children born to Oscar and Jane Webb. He grew to manhood and attended school in Hopkins. He lived in Clarinda, Iowa, a number of years, and had lived for the past 20 years in California, employed most of that time by the Forest Rangers. He leaves to mourn his passing, a daughter, Mrs. James Cameron and a granddaughter of Hannibal, Mo.; his father and a brother, Curtis Webb, both of Hopkins; two half sisters and a half brother as well as a host of friends here and in California. His mother, two sisters, Gertrude and Doris, and two brothers, Kenneth Donald and Bernard preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the Meininger-Dusel mortuary in Redding Tuesday, Dec. 14. Burial was in the Redding cemetery.
