AND THEY'RE TO LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Amid Stares of Crowds, Fred Reeder and Miss Lauretta Blanche Ulmer Are Married.

Thursday.

Cupid made the spectacle for the crowds at the Hopkins picnic this afternoon when Miss Lauretta Blanch Ulmer was married to Fred A. Reeder at the Hopkins picnic. The ceremony took place in the grand stand at the park and was performed by Dr. A. P. Walton of the Hopkins Presbyterian church.

Miss Golda Ulmer, a sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and Forest Grimes was the best man. The bridal party was whirled to the ceremony in an auto and everything was conducted on an elaborate scale. Presents of a value of nearly $200 were given the young people.

Miss Ulmer is a daughter of Mrs. Oscar Webb, while the groom is the son of Al Reeder. He is a railroad laborer, 26 years old. His bride is 18. It is understood that they will make their home in Hopkins.

The picnic opened today with good crowds, the wedding proving an effective drawing card. There is a big list of attractions and the report from the management is to the effect that the "woods are full of concessions." The affair will continue over tomorrow and Saturday.
