James M. Waldren

James Michael Waldren, 49, of 118 Bierce avenue, died at 2 a.m. yesterday at Miami Valley hospital after a brief illness. A native of Washington C. H., he had been a Dayton resident 45 years. Mr. Waldren was office manager of the Ohio Transfer company, where he had been employed 25 years. He was a charter member of the East Dayton Community Activites organization and its first president. Surviving are his wife, Anne; a daughter, Marilyn; three sons, Richard and Michael of Dayton, and Robert, with the Army in Korea; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Lucid of Dayton; and four brothers, Peter, William, Andrew and Frank, all of Dayton.

WALDREN, Anne Marie (nee Irvin), age 92, formerly of Wilmington Avenue, a graduate of Stivers High School and, as a young mother, a participant in the "Walk of Fame" sponsored by the East Dayton Community Activities, died Monday, October 28, 1996 in Hospice of Dayton. Anne was the devoted widow of James M. Waldren who died in 1954 after 27 years of marriage; mother and mother-in-law off Marilyn and Howard Clancy; Richard and Sylvia, Robert and Mabel and Patricia Waldren; sister of Earl H. Irvin, Jr., Mrs. Dewitt (Lois) Brehm and Mrs. Leon (Earla) Wilson; grandmother of 12, great-grandmother of 9 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Mrs. Waldren was also an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Private funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Edward A. Puff at HARRIS FUNERAL HOME. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. Calling hours will be private. An expression of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Dayton, Inc., 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul."
