Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday for Miss Ruth B. Irvin, former Estonian, who died Friday at Miami Valley hospital in Dayton. Services were held from a Dayton funeral home in charge of Rev. Phil Porter. Burial was made in memorial cemetery, Dayton.
Miss Irvin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl H. Irvin, was cashier and paymaster at the Frigidaire Corp. for 13 years and had lived in Dayton 23 years where she graduated from Stivers high school in 1918. She was a member of the Eastern Star lodge. Her father, Earl H. Irvin, formerly published the Eaton Democrat newspaper.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl H. Irvin, five sisters, Mrs. Martha Meisinger, Mrs. Anna Waldren, Mrs. Lois Brehm and Mrs. Ealra Forede, all of Dayton and Mrs. Marjorie Foster, of Troy and two brothers, Earl, Jr., and Robert. Her father is well known among Dayton accountants.52
