DWIGHT — (PNS) — A late Summer wedding took place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dwight when Miss Themla Rohls, daughter of Gerhardt Rohlfs and the late Mrs. Jennie Rohlfs of Dwight, became the bride of Ronald A. Ramsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ramsey of Pontiac.

The Rev. Marvin E. Nygaard performed the double ring ceremony before the altar which was decorated with bouquets of white chrysanthemums on each side with baskets of white gladioli and white daisies.

MRS. AAGE STEINICHE, organist, played the traditional wedding marches and accompanied Miss Maxine Diebel of Bloomington, solist.

Preceding the bride down the aisle to the altar was Miss Lourine Hamblin of Bloomington, bridesmaid, and her niece, Judy Ann Rohlfs of Dwight, who served as junior bridesmaid. The bridesmaid was attired in a floor length heliotrope colored net over satin gown with a satin bodice and bolero jacket. She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow daisy chrysanthemums and wore a matching band of flowers in her hair. The junior bridesmaid wore an ice blue satin gown, floor length, with white ballerina slippers and she carried a colonial bouquet of pink baby chrysanthemums and wore a matching band of flowers which adorned her hair.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father who gave her in marriage. She chose a floor length gown of white embroidered nylon tulle over bridal satin. The tulle redingote was made with an Empire neckline, fashioned with long sleeves pointed over her hands. Her veil was elbow length and her sweetheart shaped cap was made of imported silk illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses. The bride presented both of her attendants with a gold locket and chain.

GERALD ROHLFS, brother of the bride, served as best man. Marshall Ramsey of Pontiac, brother of the bridegroom and Donald Rohlfs, brother of the bride, served as ushers.

Mrs. U. U. Rademaker of Mason City, aunt of the bride, wore a navy blue dress with navy accessories and her corsage was made of pink camelias. Mrs. Ramsey chose for her son's wedding a navy and white suit with which she wore navy accessories and her corsage was made of white asters.

Immediately following the wedding a reception for 80 relatives and friends was held in the church parlors. After the first piece of the four tiered wedding cake was cut by the bride and bridegroom the wedding cake was cut and served by Mrs. Weldon Buck. Others serving were Mrs. Glen Spence, Miss Margaret Rademaker, Mrs. Paul Berger, Miss Dorothy Paulsen, Miss Dolores Grant, Mrs. Elmer Feddersen, Mrs. Chriss Anderson and Mrs. George Smith.

Mrs. Ramsey attended the Dwight public schools and graduated from the Dwight Township High School with the class of 1947. She was employed in Bloomington for four years. For the past year she has made her home with her father and she is associated with the Beauty Counselor Cosmetics.

Mr. Ramsey attended the public schools at Pontiac, spent four years in the Navy, and is now employed as a plasterer at Danville.

THE NEW Mrs. Ramsey chose for her going away outfit a gray faille suit with which she wore red accessories and her corsage was white orchids.
