Announcements have been received of the marriage of Miss Alice Douglass and Robert S. Reynolds which occurred Monday, June 1, at Wheatland, Wyo. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Douglass of Wheatland and has been teaching school in that community. The groom who is better known here as "Scottie" formerly lived in Bayard and is a nephew of Miss Marion Reynolds and Howard Reynolds. The young couple will be at home at Douglass, Wyo., after July 1.

Wilhemina (Minnie) Elina Reynolds, 83, was called home to be with our Lord on March 24, 2003. Minnie passed away at her residence in Yuma, Ariz., after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 26, at Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff, with Pastor Ed Hunzeker officiating. Inurnment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Minutare. Memorial donations may be made to the Prairie Haven Hospice, Two West 42nd Street, Suite 3400, Scottsbluff, NE, 69361.
She was born Feb. 2, 1920 in Franklin, Minn., to Frank and Sandra Isaacson. She attended school in Gryglo, Minn., and in 1934, moved to Williston, N.D., to work for a family farming operation. In 1943, she moved to Seattle, Wash., and became a welder for the Sea-Tac Shipbuilding Corp. It was there she met Robert Scott Reynolds (Scotty) and they were married in Denver, Colo., on Sept. 26, 1947. They moved to Los Angeles, Calif., where she began working at the National Biscuit Company until 1951, when she became a mother and full-time homemaker.
During the late '50s and early '60s Minnie was an avid volunteer for the Heart Fund and Cancer Society. She was also a Past President of the Washington Elementary P.T.A. in Montebello, Calif., and was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader Assistant for several years.
In 1966, the family moved to a farm near Minatare. After he husband's death in 1968, Minnie began working at West Nebraska General Hospital (now knows as Regional West Medical Center). Minnie worked for the hospital nearly 30 years until her retirement in May 1997.
In February 1998, she moved to Yuma, Ariz., and lived at Desert Rose Retirement Residence. Minnie was an eager participant in all activities and outings, always volunteering to help other residents, and was crowned "Queen" of Desert Rose for the year of 2001. Although a confirmed Lutheran, Minnie attended church services regularly at the Desert Rose Chapel. Minnie was loved dearly by her family and many friends, both here and in Arizona and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynette Curry (Bill) of Yuma; son, Eugene Reynolds (Peggy) of Ft. Lupton, Colo.; step-daughter, Marilyn Morrow of Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Hilja Setten of California, Mary Welch of Minnesota, Gail Morin of Florida, and Ann Lair of Minnesota; grandchildren Nikki Reynolds of Bellingham, Wash., Dr. Jeremy Curry (Sheba) of Tucson, Ariz.; Vanessa Reynolds of Ft. Luption, Colo. and Kimberly Curry of Yuma; great grandchildren Jakob, Jordon, Bobby and Shanae all of Tucson; and her loving friend, George Tinsley of Yuma.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Sandra Isaacson; husband Robert S. Reynolds; stepson Robert D. Reynolds; sister Ida Isaacson; and brother Isaac Isaacson.
