Myron Stanley Reynolds

MYRON STANLEY REYNOLDS, son of LAURA ADELAIDE STANLEY and GEORGE ROBERT REYNOLDS, was born September 4, 1871 in Ashland, Saunders, Nebraska,^{1550, 1671} and died May 20, 1963 in Hastings, Adams, Nebraska.¹⁶⁷¹ He is buried in Bayard Cemetery, Morrill County, Nebraska.⁴⁵⁶

Myron S. Reynolds

BAYARD — Myron Stanley Reynolds, 92, a long-time resident and early homesteader in this area, died Monday at Hastings.

He was born April 14, 1871 at Ashland, Neb. He came to western Nebraska in 1901 and settled on a homestead north of Bayard in the Wildhorse community in 1906.

Mr. Reynolds farmed the homestead until he moved to town around 1941. He spent the last years in a Bayard rest home.

Mr. Reynolds, who never married, outlived the rest of his family. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene H. and Howard G., and by two sisters, Genevra Hapgood and Marion E. Reynolds.

Survivors include nephews, Clark and Walt Reynolds of Scottsbluff, Scott Reynolds of Los Angeles, and Bion Reynolds of St. Francis, Kan.; and nieces, Mrs. Evelyn Rogers of Scottsbluff, Pauline Kearney of Long Beach, Calif., and Bernice Wickard of Minatare.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Plummer Funeral Home.
