NELSON ABBEY'S SON IS DEAD AT DETROIT

Appendicitis, Followed by Complications, was Cause

Survived by Wife and Children and by his Parents in this Village—Burial was at Detroit

The death of Nelson B. Abbey occurred Monday morning, April 15th, at a hospital in Detroit, Mich. Mr. Abbey underwent an operation three weeks previous for removal of disease appendix. Complications developed and as a result death followed.

Nelson Burnett was son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Abbey of this village and was born in Randolph December 25, 1893. About six years ago he was married to Miss Rose Ryan of Dayton, Tenn. and the couple resided in this section until about a year ago when the family removed to Detroit. Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Abbey and three children. Also the parents of Randolph and four brothers namely Clarence Abbey, Steamburg, Walter Abbey, Jamestown, Russell and Richard Abbey, both of Randolph.

The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10:30 from the Manley Funeral parlos in Detroit. Burial was made in Woodmere cemetery that city. Walter, Clarence and Richard Abbey and Fred Blood went to Detroit that they might attend the funeral returning here Wednesday.
