Lemon of South Twenty-first street and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Gurney Hill, became the bride of Dr. Benjamin Ahl, of the United States navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ahl of Centerville.
The wedding took place at the manse of the Frederated Presbyterian church, Rev. William M. Case, pastor of the church officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father and the wedding couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Grant L. Turnquist of Sacramento, Calif. The bride was charmingly costumed in an aquamaring blue crepe ensemble worn with brown accessories. Her flowers were a corsage of Hadley roses.
Mrs. Turnquist wore a rust crepe afternoon dress with corsage of Briarcliff roses.
A change in the plans for the wedding which was to have been held here was necessitated by the transfer of Dr. Ahl, a surgeon in the navy, from the naval base hospital at Mare island to the Mount Shasta region where he is a medical officer in one of the reforestation camps.
