Rev. C. Franklin Kock, pastor of the church, read the single ring service. White tapers burned in two tall candelabra on either side of the altar. Poinsettias were arranged along the chancel rail and red tapers burned beneath large Christmas wreaths in each window along both sides of the auditorium.
Mrs. Marjorie Beck Lohman, organist, played a half hour program of bridal music preceding the service. Mrs. Lohman's numbers included, "Calm as the Night," (Bohm), "At Dawning," (Cadman), "Liebestraum," (Liszt) and "O Promis Me," (DeKoven.) The "Bridal Chorus" from "Lohengrin" was played during the processional and the "Mendelssohn March" was used for the recessional. During the ceremony Mrs. Lohman played, "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi."

Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Ahl left on a short wedding trip and upon their return will be at home at 525 South Fifteenth street.
The bride was graduated from Morton High Shcool and from the Augustana Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago.
