Thomas I. Ahl

CENTERVILLE — Thomas I. Ahl, 76, 5664 Centerville Road S., died at his home.

He was a native of Richmond and was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. He was a graduate of Morton High School, Richmond, and a 1933 graduate of Earlham College. He had attended Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was a farmer and a former employee of the Centerville-Abington School System.

Survivors include two sisters, Clarissa A. Carter of Richmond and Sally Bliss of Bettendorf, Iowa ; one brother, Dr. Benjamin Ahl of Carmel Valley, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.

One brother, Ralph Ahl, died in 1973.

Funeral service for Thomas I. Ahl will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 18, at Mills Funeral Home in Centerville, with the Rev. Richard T. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Mills Funeral Home.
