A whirl of parties will precede the wedding of Elizabeth Weigel and her fiance, Jens Nilssen, before their marriage June 15.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyman A. Beardsley, Huntington's Point, Lake Minnetonka and their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hursh (Alice Beardsley), will be hosts at a picnic supper Saturday at the Beardsley home.
Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Nilssen will give the bridal dinner June 14 at Minneapolis Automobile club at Bloomington-on-the-Minnesota. Mrs. Donald L. Pomeroy, Minnetonka Beach, was hostess Saturday at her home in honor of Miss Weigel. A Sunday night dinner was given at Lafayette club, Minnetonka Beach by Nell Daniels.
Mr. and Mrs. Watson E. Elwell, 2315 Willson street NE, gave a dinner and Mrs. Leo Gehring, 4921 Stevens avenue, gave a shower and Mrs. Edwin S. Elwell, 5127 Belmon avenue S., was hostess at a luncheon. Mrs. H. K. Nilssen, 5025 Wentworth avenue S., gave a kitchen shower.
Miss Weigel is the daughter of Mrs. Howard N. Weigel, 124 Prospect avenue.

Plymouth Congregational church was the scene of the marriage of Elizabeth Alden Weigel, 124 Prospect avenue, and Jens Anker Nilssen, 5025 Wentworth avenue S., son of Karl E. Nilssen, Brooklyn, N. Y., on Saturday evening.
Marion Weigel was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Patricia Weigel, Ruth Weigel and Mary Jo Nilssen.
Attendants for Mr. Nilssen were Richard Weigel, Edwin S. Elwell, Jr., St. Paul, Laurence R. Elwell, Jr., Anoka, and Oliver Judd, St. Paul.
Mr. and Mrs. Nilssen will be at home at Wayzata after July 1. The bride attended Lawrence college, Appleton, Wis., and University of Minnesota. She is a Delta Gamma. Mr. Nilssen attended Oslo College of Commerce, Oslo, Norway, and new York university, New York city.
