Coming as a surprise to their many friends is the announcement of the marriage of Miss Dorothy M. Wood and Harold J. Blair of this city on Saturday, April 25.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel P. Wood and Mr. Blair is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Blair of Albany, Or., formerly of Portland.

The young couple will make their home in Portland.

Harold Blair

Harold J. "Harry" Blair, former branch manager of Laher Spring & Tire Service, died in his Southwest Portland home Tuesday. He was 78.

Mr. Blair, who resided at 4120 S.W. 86th Ave., was born in Coburg and had lived in the Portland area since the age of 2.

Survivors include his three brothers, Donald of Seattle, Edward of Howe, Ind., and Glenn of Clearwater, Fla.; and a sister, Berniece Bowerman of Westerville, Ohio.

Funeral will be in Hennessey, Goetsch & McGee with Miller & Tracey funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday, with interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
