TULELAKE COUPLE MARRIED HERE WEDNESDAY EVENING

Carletta June Buell of Tulelake, Calif., became the bride of Louis Hugh Blagden, also of Tulelake, at a pretty home wedding which took place at 22 High street, Klamath Falls Wednesday evening, July 15.

Rev. Fred Hornshuh, pastor of Klamath Temple, performed the ring ceremony in the presence of a few relatives and friends, including Mrs. Udell Hawk, Mrs. O. F. Peterson and Beverly Peterson.

The bride was attractive in a white silk crepe frock with white accessories. She carried an arm bouquet of gardenias. The maid of honor, Mrs. Cecil Buell, wore a light blue voile frock. Cecil Buell acted as best man.

The bride is a graduate of Tulelake high school.

After a brief wedding trip to Crescent City, the couple expect to make their home in Tulelake where the groom is engaged in logging operations between Timber mountain and Tulelake.

H.G. "Hank" Lucht

HUBBARD — H.G. "Hank" Lucht, Rt. 1, Box 376, former owner of the old Playmore Park restaurant, died Sunday in a Silverton hospital at age 73. He had suffered from arthritis three years.

Lucht was born in South Dakota and moved to Oregon with his family at age 8. He settled in the Mount Hope district south of Molalla where he worked as a farmer and hop grower.

In 1945 he purchased the restaurant in Hubbard and operated it 15 years. He later worked as a security guard in a Woodburn cannery.

He is survived by widow June; daughter Esther Gascaigne, Portland; step-daughters Alta Jean Howland, West Linn, and Michaelle Junker, Rio Linde, Calif.; sister Emma Matthes, Portland; four grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Angel, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Everhart & Kent Mortuary, Molalla, in in charge.

HUBBARD — C. June Lucht, 74, died Saturday in Hubbard.

A native of Falls City, she had lived in Oregon most of her life. She graduated from Tule Lake, Calif., High School in 1936.

She was married to Hugh Bladen in 1937. She later married Hank Lucht in 1945; he died in 1974. They were proprietors of the Playmore Park Restaurant in Hubbard until 1960.

She was a legal secretary until her retirement. She was a rock hound and traveled throughout the western United States.

Survivors include her companion, Orin Dexter of Hood River; daughters, Alta "A.J." Howland of Hubbard and Micki Housley of Rio Linda, Calif.; sisters, Vivian Shapley and Alta Carson, both of Scappoose; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday in Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn. Private interment will be in Aurora Community Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
