Edwin H. Cole Dies in Illinois

Word was received today of the death last night in Collinsville, Ill., of Edwin H. Cole, for many years active in drug circles in Indianapolis, and brother of Miss Alice Cole, of The News.

Death, which occurred at the home of his sister, Mrs. M. W. Reed, Collinsville, was the culmination of an illness extending over the last two years.

A native of Indianapolis, Mr. Cole at one time was owner and manager of the Cole Prescription Laboratory and later served as manager for several local drug concerns. He served for 11 months with a hospital unit in France in World War I. He was a member of the American Legion and the Methodist Church.

In addition to Miss Cole and Mrs. Reed, he also is survived by another sister, Mrs. F. E. Thompson, Evansville. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
