ETHEL AURORA COLTON, daughter of PAULINA JANE MILLER and JOHN EDMUND COLTON, was born September 8, 1887 in Taopi, Minnehaha, South Dakota,⁶⁹⁶⁰ and died June 19, 1911 in Colton, Minnehaha, South Dakota.^{456, 12381} She is buried in Colton Cemetery, Minnehaha County, South Dakota.⁴⁵⁶

Word reached Sioux Falls Monday of the death at Colton of Miss Edith Colton, who was 28 years of age, and daughter of the late J. E. Colton. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Methodist church.
