The marriage of Miss Marion Frances Green, daughter of Colonel and Mrs. Joseph Green, to Mr. Charles Cummings, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Cummings of Dallas City, Illinois, took place Wednesday evening, September 17, in All Saints' Episcopal Church, the Very Rev. Sidney T. James of the procathedral of Tacoma reading the service.

The church was beautifully decorated with autumn leaves, marigolds, dahlias and white asters.

The bride, entering on the arm of her father, wore a gown of crepe and princess lace, trimmed in crystal and ostrich. Her veil of tulle was held in place with a band of rhinestones, and she carried a shower bouquet of white orchids, pink roses and orange blossoms.

Miss Helen Frances Diveley, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a gown of orchid sating and georgette, with picture hat to match, trimmed with silver lace, and she carried a bouquet of orchids and stock.

The maids, wearing frocks in pastel shades, were Miss Mary Hedington, Miss Dorothy Bull, Miss Madeline Gordon and Miss Blanche Axelson. Each wore a corsage bouquet of Cecil Brunner roses.

Mr. Alfred Warwick Green, brother of the bride, was best man.

Before the ceremony Mr. Denham R. Hilton sang "O Promise Me," Mr. Edwin Fairburn presiding at the organ.

Immediately following the ceremony there was a reception at the home of the bride, at which Mrs. Nell Sexton, Mrs. Frank Buell Cade, Mrs. Joseph Green, Jr., and Mrs. H. A. Frederick assisted.

The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Orlean Weed of Wenatchee, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Richardson of Tacoma and Mr. and Mrs. John Lehmann of Port Angeles.

For traveling Mrs. Cummings wore a cocoa brown three-piece model, trimmed with fox, and a small hat to match.

After October 15 Mr. and Mrs. Cummings will be at home in this city at 1233 14th Ave.

Marion Cummings

MESA — Marion F. Cumming, 70, a former insurance adjuster and a member of the Pink Ladies who did volunteer work at Mesa Lutheran Hospital, died Tuesday in the hospital.

Mrs. Cummings of 8615 E. Apache Trail was a past president of the Episcopal Church in Seattle.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in Desert View Chapel, 9702 E. Apache Trail. Services and burial will be in Seattle.

Survivors include her husband, Charles; daughters, Mrs. Frances Solyer and Mrs. Laura Glidden; a brother, and seven grandchildren.

MESA — Charles Cummings, 86, a retired auditor for King County, Wash., died Aug. 21, 1984, at Chula Vista Nursing Center.

Mr. Cummings, of Mesa, was born in Dallas City, Ill., and moved to Arizona from Seattle in 1963. He served in the Navy in World War I and II. He was a Mason, and Elk and member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille; daughters, Frances Slayer and Laura Glidden; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be in Seattle. Bunker's Desert View Chapel made local arrangements. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society are suggested.
