Mr. and Mrs. Louis Casiraghi, 406 East Ohio Avenue, Mt. Vernon, are announcing the marriage of Mrs Casiraghi's daughter Miss Shirlee Coretta Miller to Richard Carter Dunnington, son of Mrs. I. L. Dunnington and the late I. L. Dunnington of 315 North Mt. Pleasant Street, Lancaster. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Donald F. Miller of Mt. Vernon.
The ceremony took place at 2:30 p. m. Saturday, July 18, in the rectory of the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Fr. Eugene Dunn officiating. Attendants were Miss Lenore Balzer and Edward Welsch, both of Dayton.
The reception was held following the ceremony in the home of the bride for the immediate families and a few close friends. Out of town guests were present from San Diego, Calif, Dayton, Lancaster, Newark and Utica.
The bride is a graduate of Utica-Washington High School and was graduated as an X-ray technician from Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She is employed at the Lancaster Fairfield Hospital in Lancaster.
Mr. Dunnington was graduated from the Lancaster High School and is employed by the K. D. Grove Trucking Company, Columbus.
Following a short wedding trip in the southern part of the state the couple will live in 229 1/2 Wilson Street, Lancaster.

Mr. Richard C. Dunnington, 75, South Point, died Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Kings Daughter Hospital, Ashland, Ky.
He was a retired terminal manager.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 6:30 p.m. at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirlee Miller Dunnington; three sons, Michael Dunnington of Lake Mary, Fla., Joel Dunnington of Newman, Ga., and Pete Dunnington of Brandenton, Fla.; three daughters, Patrice Blatt of Newman, Ga., Lee Ann Dunnington of Indianapolis and Kendra Kelley of South Point; two brothers, I.L. "Bud" Dunnington of Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert "Bob" Dunnington of Torrence, Calif.; and one sister, Mary Jo Evans of Lancaster.
Friends may call from 7 to 0 p.m. Tuesday at Sugarwood Golf Club clubhouse.
The funeral liturgy will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Anns Catholic Chuch, Chesapeake, Ohio. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, W. Va., will be in charge of arrangements.
