Neosho Falls Post, July 6, 1888⁹⁴⁸⁹

The oldest son of J. R. Engle, who lives southwest of here some four miles died suddenly Wednesday morning and was buried in the cemetery of this place Thursday. He had been indisposed for some days, but was able to sit up and no danger was apprehended. Ten minutes before his death he appeared as well as he had been for several days. He was twenty-four years of age.
