JAMES GAY TO LINCOLN, BOB GAY TO IOWA CITY

The Gay family has further been depleted by two of the boys leaving Essex recently. James, who for several months past has been working in the Commercial National Bank, has severed his connection with that institution and left the first of the week for Lincoln, Nebraska where he has accepted a position with the Lincoln Hotel where he worked for several years before he enlisted in the service. Robert returned to Iowa City where he will resume treatment at the state hospital. He has been home for several months and returns to the hospital in the hope that he may receive the treatment that will be of benefit to him and restore him to health and strength again.
