YORK GIRL'S HUSBAND SENTENCED FOR BIGAMY

PRESTON EBAUGH GIVEN 6 MONTHS IN HOUSE OF CORRECTION

BOTH "WIVES" DEVOTED

Lloyd Preston Ebaugh, 22 years old, of Baltimore, husband of the former Miss Lenora Geiselman, of this city, was yesterday sentenced to six months in a Maryland house of correction on a bigamy charge.

Ebaugh pleaded guilty to the charge in criminal court yesterday and was subsequently sentenced by Judge Eli Frank. He was indicted for going through a ceremony of marriage with Gladys Young, of Baltimore, on June 23, without having obtained a divorce from his wife Mrs. Lenora Geiselman Ebaugh, of this city.

The man was arrested on June ? by George Young, a brother of Miss Young, who claimed authority as a special deputy sheriff. He took Ebaugh to the Northeastern police station, Baltimore, and was then relieved of his commission as a deputy because of improper use of a gun in capturing Ebaugh.

Ebaugh lived in the 1800 block of Jefferson street, Baltimore, and was employed as an attendant in John Hopkins hospital. It was there he met Miss Young, who worked in the laundry department. He was married to Lenora Geiselman in March.
