TWO GIRLS MISSING

Frances Naylor and Maud Geiselman Believed to Have Been Abducted

The police department of Baltimore has been notified, through Chief of Detectives White of this city, to trace the whereabouts of Frances Naylor, aged fourteen years, 27 South Newberry street, and Maud Geiselman, aged fifteen years, Garfield street. The girls were formerly employed as waitresses in a hotel in this city and are believed to have been enticed to go to Baltimore. They were seen each with a bundle in the vicinity of the N. C. R. depot yesterday afternoon and are supposed to have left the city on the 3:30 train for Baltimore. The parents communicated with the police and Chief of Detectives White immediately communicated with the Baltimore detectives.

RUNAWAYS CAPTURED

Two McSherrystown Boys and Tow York Girls Returned To Parents

While the police of Baltimore yesterday picked up two runaway girls from this city, the police of York caught two boys who had left their homes in Littlestown, Sunday, intending to run away to Chicago.

The girls, Frances Naylor, fourteen years, 27 South Newberry Street, and Maud Geiselman, fifteen years, Garfield street, disappeared from this city Sunday. It was suspected that they left for Baltimore and Chief of Detectives White notified the police authorities of that city to be on the lookout for the girls. Yesterday afternoon Sergeant Stevens, as acting chief of police, received word that they had been located and were being detained in the Monumental city. The father of the Geiselman girt was notified and he went to Baltimore and brought the pair home last night.

Charles C. Cook, 64, Of Dover RD 2, Dies

Dover — Charles C. Cook, 64, husband of Mrs. Maud S. Cook, Dover RD 2, died yesterda at 8:29 a.m. at Main's Convalescent home, York.

Surviving also are four sons, Joseph W. Cook, Dover RD 2; Charles J. Cook, Phoenix, Ariz.; Robert J. Cook, Atlanta, Ga., and Staff Sgt. Arthur C. Cook, Puerto Rico; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Burns, 523 Dupont avenue, York; a sister, Mrs. Annie Fissel, Gettysburg, and three cgranchildren.

A painting contractor, Mr. Cook was a member of Bethel chapel, York.

Funeral services Thursday at 1o a.m. at the Max G. Anstine Funeral home, 1701 West Market street, York, will be conducted by Rev. Richard Bowers, pastor of Bethel chapel, assisted by Rev. Harold Myers, Gettysburg. Interment will be in Greenmount cemetery, York.

Mrs. Maud F. Cook

Mrs. Maud F. Cook, 75, Dover RD 2, widow to Charles C. Cook, died Friday at 2:43 p.m. at York Hospital.

Born in York, she was a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Mary Rose Mann Geiselman.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. I. Frances Burns, 523 DuPont Ave., four sons, Joseph W. Cook, Dover RD 2, Charles J. Cook, Phoenix, Ariz., James R. Cook, Richmond, Va., and Arthur C. Cook, Bossier City, La.; five grandchildren; a brother James B. Geiselman, 150 Eastland Ave., and five sisters, Mrs. Grace Smith, 1909 W. Filbert St.; Mrs. Hazel Heffner, 430 S. George St.; Mrs. Florence McClain, new Freedom RD 1; Mrs. Dorothy Wantz, 1925 W. Filbert St., and Mrs. Lenora Rabenstein, 303 S. George St.

Rev. Harold Myers, of Gettysburg, and Rev. Edgar Crisamore, of Dover, will officiate at funeral services Monday at 2 p.m. at the Heffner Funeral Home, 1701 W. Market St. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
