Dr. W. B. Hall, Retired Dentist, Dies at Home

Dr. William Bader Hall, 81, retired Danville dentist, was found dead in bed Wednesday morning, Jan. 7, 1953, at his home, 809 Grant St. He had been in ill health about six months.

Prior to his retirement, Dr. Hall had practiced dentistry 54 years, coming to Danville in 1901 from Vincennes, Ind., where he started in his profession in 1897.

A graduate of the College of Dentistry at Northwestern University in 1896, he was married June 8, 1897, near Gessie, Ind., to Mary A. Carithers, who survives.

He was a member of the Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Vermilion County Dental Society, Blue Lodge Number One, AF&AM, at Vincennes, Danville Consistory, and an honorary member of the Illinois State Dental Society.

He was born Jan. 29, 1871, at Gessie, son of William I. and Mary Hall.

Surviving besides the wife are a daughter, Frances H. Hall of Danville; a brother, Wendell V. Hall of Santa Fe, N. M., and a sister, Mrs. Mary H. Hoobler of Streator.
