Estus N. Hammond

Estus N. Hammond, 87, 152 Kelsey Ave., died Feb. 1, 1976, in a Murray nursing home of causes incident to age.

Born June 15, 1888, Providence, Cache County, to Estus and Kda Pitkims Hammond. Married Evelyn Nelson, Dec. 7, 1910, Logan Temple. Active member, LDS church. Retired steelworker.

Survivors: wife; son, daughters, Hale, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Vic (MarJean) Woolslayer, San Ramon, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Funkhouser, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, sister, Cyril Hammond, Ogden; Grant Hammond, Los Angeles; Floyd Hammond, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Alta Coburn, Logan.

Funeral Thursday 11 a.m., South Harvard Ward chapel, 1021-2nd East. Friends call 255-2nd East, Wednesday 6:30-8 p.m. and Thursday at the ward one hour before service. Burial, 2:30 p.m., Logan City Cemetery.
