FLOURNOY—Mrs. Alma Irvine Flournoy, 64 years old, died last night at her home, 2547 Kensington avenue. SHe is survived by her husband, Samuel H. Flournoy of the Lewis & Flournoy Livestock Commission Exchange; and three sons, Samuel I. Flournoy, 4917 Montgall avenue; W. Raymond Flournoy, New York, and M. Houston Flournoy, 2435 Elmwood avenue. Funeral will be at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Gates chapel. Burial will be at Mount Washington cemetery.

SAMUEL H. FLOURNOY DEAD

Livestock Commission Man Had Been in Business Here 30 Years

Samuel H. Flournoy, 78 years old, died yesterday at his home, 2547 Kensington avenue. He had been in the livestock business at the Kansas City stockyards the last thirty years. Starting with the Dixon Livestock Commission Company here in 1904, he joined Cooper & Ryan in 1910, and in 1922 formed the present partnership with R. H. Lewis as the Lewis-Flournoy Livestock Commission Company.

For the greater part of the time, Mr. Flournoy was a cattle salesman, with a wide acquaintance among cattle raisers of the Southwest. The last several years he had dealt largely in hogs.

Mr. Flournoy was born near Hardin, Mo., August 9, 1855. He married Alma P. Irvine in 1880. They had six children, three of whom died in infancy. The first Mrs. Flournoy died in 1922. A year later he married Mrs. Olive M. Young.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Olive M. Flournoy, of the home; three sons, S. Irvine Flournoy, Oklahoma City; W. Raymond Flournoy, New York, and M. Houston Flournoy, 2417 Quincy avenue, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Walter A. Hill, 2539 Quincy avenue.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday at the Phoenix Park Methodist church, Twenty-sixth street and Spruce avenue. Burial will be in Mt. Washington cemetery.

On the 14th of February, 1883, at the residence of its parent near Millville, infant child of S. H. and Alma P. Flournoy and grand child of Judge Flournoy. Sweet is the sleep of innocence and this little cherub, has been called to that rest, before it knew the troubles and trials of the world.
