Mr. Alfred T. Irvine died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Josephine Dyson in Cotulla, Texas, August 7, after a lingering illness from paralysis. He had made his home at Cotulla since leaving Missouri a number of years ago.

Mr. Irvine was a pioneer citizen of Saline County, Missouri and was prominently identified with the farming interests during his residence here. He was the son of P. Y. and Sarah Irvine. He was born June 30, 1845 at the Old Irvine homestead, nine miles north of Marshall. He was a member of a large family. He is survived by an only sister, Mrs. W. E. Rock, of San Antonio, Tex.
