In a quiet home ceremony among a group of 30 friends and relatives Mrs. May Mize Jones, 68 years old, 1220 Raymond Ave., and Mr. Benjamin Irvine 74 years old, 1129 Raymond Ave., were married Sunday at 6 p. m. Rev. P. Quentin Royer officiated at the service at Mrs. Jones' home.
The bride was gowned in navy blue and wore an orchid corsage. The couple were attended by the bride's daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Cole, and her son, Robert Jones.
Following a two weeks vacation motor trip the couple will make their home at 1129 Raymond Ave.

IRVINE—Mrs. Ada Watts Irvine, 77, of 1129 Raymond Ave., died last night at her home. A native of Poplar Springs, Va., she came to Long Beach 33 years ago from Pasadena, where she had resided since 1908. She was a member of the Church Of Christ here. Surviving are her widower, Ben D. Irvine; two sons, harry L. Watts, Cathedral City, and John K. Watts, Long Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Carl Myers, Long Beach; a brother, James R. Kibler, Long Beach, and three grandchildren. Service will be held Saturday at 1 p. m. in the chapel of Mottell's Mortuary, with Ernest Beam of Central Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, Altadena.

Mrs. J. H. Rucker, Blackwater, received a message telling of the death of her brother, Benjamin D. Irvine, who died at a hospital in Long Beach, Calif., after a short illness.
Mr. Irvine was born Jan. 10, 1874, in Saline County, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Irvine, and in later years moved to a farm in Cooper County near Blackwater.
Later he went to Marshall where he was in business and from there moved to Oklahoma, then to California. He was married to Miss Kate Turley who preceded him in death.
Burial was in California.
He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Mae Jones Irvine; one brother, Robert Irvine, Miami, Fla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Smith, LaMesa, Calif., Mrs. Elizabeth Cogswell, Hutchison, Kan., and Mrs. J. H. (Lula) Rucker, Blackwater.
