He married LULA BELLE IRVINE on September 20, 1892 in Cooper County, Missouri,⁸⁴⁶³ daughter of MARTHA E. LEWIS and HENRY BROWN IRVINE. She was born in 1871,⁴⁵⁶ and died July 3, 1970 in Missouri.⁹⁴³⁸ She is buried in Old Lamine Cemetery, Cooper County, Missouri.⁴⁵⁶

Died.

Alvin P. Rucker, aged four years and three months, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Rucker, died at the residence on East Yerby, Thursday, July 10, at 2:20 p. m., after an illness of two weeks at the home of the parents on East Yerby. The funeral took place from the residence Friday at 9:30 a. m. Rev. W. H. Howell conducted the services.

Burial at Ridge Park.

Nothing that can be said can comfort the bereaved hearts of the sorrowing ones over the loss of their little one, but the sympathy of friends is sweet and they have that from all who know of their desolation.

The Democrat-News extends sincerest sympathy to the bereaved family with the hope that He who doeth all things well may be very near to them in this hour of trouble.
