IRVINE, ROBERT C. 83 of 2800 Toledo St. Coral Gables passed away Nov. 28. He came to Miami from Baltimore, Md. 17 years ago where he was employed by the Whitaker Paper Co. for 35 years. He was formerly from Marshall, Mo. A member of the Coral Gables Congregational Church and the All States Friendship Club. Survived by his wife, Olive Wood Irvine, son Robert J., daughter Mrs. Bea Hamrick of Miami, daughter Mrs. Gayle Anderson of Springfield, Va. Sister Mrs. Ethel Smith of LaMesa, Calif. 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Private services will be conducted by the Rev. Richard Ballar at the Coral Gables Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers family requests memorial tributes to the Leisure Club of the Coral Gables Congregational Church. Arrangements by Van Orsdel Coral Gables Mortuary.

Olive Wood Irvine, 90, Nurse, Church Worker

Olive Wood Irvine, a registered nurse and president of the Leisure Club at the Coral Gables Congregational Church, died Thursday at Doctors Hospital. She was 90.

Mrs. Irvine came to Miami 26 years ago from Baltimore, Md. There she received her nursing degree in 1914 from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.

During World War I, she joined the Army Nurse Corps and was part of the contingent that established the first American hospital in France.

Mrs. Irvine had been president of the Needlework Guild of America in Baltimore. She was a member of the American Red Cross, an honorary member of the American Nurses Association, and a member of the All State Friendship Club.

Survivors include her son, Robert C. Irvine, Jr.; two daughters, Beatrice Hamrick and Gail Anderson; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Coral Gables Congregational Church. Van Orsdel Coral Gables Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

The family suggests donations be made to the church's Leisure Club.
