PAUL C. MONROE, son of JENNIE ALICE REID and ROBERT WILLIAM MONROE, was born July 7, 1886 in Muncie, Delaware, Indiana,^{8, 1028} and died October 21, 1918 in Richmond, Ray, Missouri.⁷⁰⁶ He is buried in Shotwell Cemetery, Richmond, Ray, Missouri.^{706, 456}

PAUL C. MONROE SUCCUMBS

Word was received here Monday of the death Sunday night, of Paul C. Monroe, which followed an attack of pneumonia, at his home in Richmond, Mo. Mr. Monroe was the eldest son of the late Robert W. Monroe, former auditor and prosecutor of Delaware County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carol Monroe of Richmond, his mother, Mrs. Alice R. Monroe, sister, Mrs. Lester Kirkman of San Anselmo, Cal., and two brothers Lieut. (j. g.) Bruce E. Monroe and Donald G. Monroe both of whom are in transport service and are now enroute to France. The funeral services will take place today and burial will be made in Richmond.
