PEFFLEY, Nancy E., age 86, of 5393 National Rd., Clayton, died Saturday morning at her residence after a short illness. A life-long area resident and member of the Salem Church of the Brethren, Phillipsburg, she was preceded by her husband, Jess D., in 1964, and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Barns, who were former Clayton area residents. Survived by 1 son, John B., Clayton; a sister, Mrs. Clara A. Kothman, Troy. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Brookville. Rev. Alvin Cook officiating. Interment Arlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
