Mrs. Pearl C. Pickett was born in Clinton County, January 18, 1872, and passed away March 3, 1957, at her home in Stewartsville. She was the daughter of James T. Everett and Anna Irvin Everett and she spent her 85 years in this Community. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Pickett who passed away December 21, 1955. They were married 65 years.

She is survived by a son Edward E. and a grandson, Eddie, two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Snyder, Bellingham, Washington, and Mrs. Ivah Derring of Maryville, Washington. She was member of th Stewartsville Baptist Church and the Order of Easter Star number 174 of Stewartsville.

Services were held Tuesday, March 5, at the Summerfield Chapel with Rev. R. L. Robinson, and Miss Bess Combs officiating. The organist was Mrs. Loren Clouse and soloist was Burnis Winger, who sang "The Last Mile of The Way" and "Rock of Ages."

Pallbearers were Leslie Kessaman, Gordon Saunders, Lloyd Shewey, James Masters, Donald Saunders, and Bobby Cook. Burial was at the Stewartsville cemetery.
