SARAH RICHARDS

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 P. M. in the Harry A. Nauman & Sons Chapel for Sarah Richards, 71, a member of an early day Amador County family. She died yesterday in her home at 1913 Ninth Street.

Mrs. Richards was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Barron. She was born in Amador City, Amador County, where her father was a mining engineer. She resided in Sacramento about three years. Her husband, C. Wesley Richards, is a retired Oakdale farmer.

She was the mother of Samuel W. Richards of Salinas and Lester H. Richards of Oakland; a sister of Mrs. Annie Armstrong of Sacramento, Mrs. Pearl Hobbs of San Francisco, Mrs. Bessie Orr of Ceres and Garnet Fleming of Fair Oaks.

Cyrus Richards, 92, Lode Native, Dies; Was OID Dirctor

OAKDALE — Funeral services are pending at the Pascoe-Botto Mortuary here for Cyrus Wesley Richards, 92, who died yesterday in a Modesto hospital.

He was a native of Angels Camp, Calaveras County, and had lived there and in the Oakdale area all his life.

He was a teamster and had served the Oakdale Irrigation District as a director for several years.

He was a 50 year member of the Bear Mountain Masonic Lodge in Angels Camp and held a life membership in the Oakdale Dinner Club.

Surviving are his widow, Annie, and a son, Harmon L Richards of Oakdale.

RICHARDS—In Modesto, September 30, 1958 Cyrus Wesley (Wes) Richards, beloved husband of Mrs. Annie Richards of Oakdale, loving father of Harmon Richards of Oakland and the late Samuel Richards, devoted brother of the late Mrs. Selema Sargent and Mrs. Mary Palmer. Also survived by three grandchildren. A native of Angels Camp aged 92 years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Saturday in PASCOE-BOTTO mortuary, Oakdale. Rev. Glenn Miller of Community Methodist Church officiating. Interment services will be at 2 PM in the Altavill Cemetery under the auspices of the Bear Mountain Lodge.
