ORANGE BLOSSOM ROMANCE CULMINATES IN WEDDING

W. S. Reid, the well known Orange Blossom rancher returned Monday afternoon from San Francisco with a bride of a week. Mr. Reid was married on November 21st, to Miss Magnhild Kringlen a prominent young woman of Oakland, at the home of the bride in that city. Mr. Reid left for the city a week ago, ostensibly on a business trip, and surprised all his friends by bringing home his wife. Mr. Reid is a ditch tender for the irrigation district and has a host of friends who are extending their congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Reid will make their home on the Reid ranch in Orange Blossom Colony where they will find a hearty welcome.

The marriage was the culmination of a romance which began last summer when Miss Kringlen visited at the home of Mrs. G. S. Wills in Orange Blossom. It was a case of love at first sight when Miss Kringlen and Mr. Reid met, and an engagement followed speedily. Mrs. Reid is prominent in Norwegian circles in Oakland, and was a leader in all their activities. She was a member of the executive committee which had charge of the construction of the Norway building at the exposition, and was the hostess on the day it was opened to the public. She is an old time friend of Mrs. Wills, and Mr. and Mrs. Wills will entertain at a dinner party Saturday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Reid.
