Mr. and Mrs. James P. Cox in company with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur O. Cox of Reid Oaks and Allen James Cox of Santa Cruz were entertained at dinner by Miss Leah Reid and her sister, Dr. Letitia Oaks, at their home in Redwood City recently.

Arthur O. Cox Taken By Death At Aromas Home

Arthur O'Dell Cox, 73, resident of the Watsonville area for the past 50 years, died Friday night at Reid Oaks, his family home in Aromas, following a brief illness. He was a native of Michigan.

For 31 years he was senior member of the Cox & Sager Blacksmith establishment which was located at Bridge and Main Sts. In 1933 he retired to Reid Oaks.

He leaves his widow, Alice, of the family home; a brother, James P. Cox, of Aptos; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Episcopal church; the Independent Order of Red Men; and the Watsonville Masonic lodge.

Private Masonic services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from White's chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Hill cemetery in San Jose.
