A pleasant company of friends were present on this occasion to see these couples launch out in their new state in Life.

Mrs. Viola Shedd

Mrs. Viola Shedd, 63, of Route 4, Eugene, died Wednesday at Sacred Heart hospital. She had been a resident of this community but a few months, coming from Coos Bay. She had lived for 20 years in Oregon. She was born Nov. 5, 1880, in Minnesota, and was married in 1901 to Charles Louis Shedd.

She is survived by one son, Pvt. Ivan L. Shedd of Spokane; five daughters, Mrs. Meriel Lloyd of Eugene; Miss Annette Shedd of Lebanon; Mrs. J. W. Shields of Empire; Mrs. E. G. McCleary of Portland and Mrs. Edna Williamson of Alderwood Manor, Wash.; several sisters and brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p. m. at Poole's mortuary.
