He married CHARLENA EMILY WALKER on September 6, 1893 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.¹⁹⁹⁹ She was born May 13, 1864 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin,¹⁸² and died March 24, 1936 in Bluefield, Mercer, West Virginia.¹⁸² She is buried in Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, Mercer, West Virginia.¹⁸²

Mrs. N. T. Wedge is expecting as her guest, Mrs. Lewis F. Shedd of Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Shedd were former residents of Zumbrota until nearly seventeen years ago when they moved to Los Angeles where they have since resided. Mr. Shedd passed away Feb. 11, of this year after a brief illness of heart trouble, though he had not been in rugged health for years. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Shedd, among the pioneers of Goodhue county. He was born August 29, 1868 on the farm one mile north of town and spent his boyhood days there. For a number of years while living in Zumbrota he was in the employ of the Northwestern railroad.

Bluefield, W. Va., March 24 (Special)—Mrs. Charlena Shedd, 71, wife of the late Louis F. Shedd, and a sister-in-law of H. E. Shedd, safety director of the Appalachian Electric Power company, died today at the Shedd home here.
