Mrs. Amelia Utz Stambaugh, wife of Bert E. Stambaugh died at her home in Jefferson this morning at 6:45 o'clock, after an illness of about 10 days from a complication of diseases. She was aged 52 years, 8 months and 1 day. She was the daughter of the late Elias and Lucy Stegner Utz, deceased, who resided in the vicinity of Shorb's store, along Baltimore pike, West Manheim township. She was married 34 years ago to Mr. Stambaugh who survives also one daughter, Mrs. John Flickinger, Centennial avenue, one granddaughter, Madelyn Flickinger; one brother, George Utz, near Littlestown, and to sisters, Mrs. Howard Reynold, Harrisburg, and Mrs. Luther Feeser, Pleasant Hill. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the house. The Rev. Mr. Yoder will officiate. Interment will take place in Jefferson cemetery.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Stambaugh leaves a step-daughter Mrs. John E. Flickinger, 218 Baltimore street, this place; a sister, Mrs. Annie Lehman, York, and a brother, Milton Moul, Dover R. D. 1. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Walter W. Futer Funeral home, 662 Linden avenue, York. Interment will be in Greenmount cemetery.

Bert E. Stambaugh, 90, a York resident until six years ago, died yesterday at 6:10 p.m. at the home of a niece, Mrs. Jonas Dull, York, R.D. 4, where he resided. He was twice married. His first wife was the late Amelia Utz Stambaugh. He was the husband of the late Minnie Bupp Stambaugh and a son of the late Joseph and Emma Haar stambaugh, Jackson Township. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Annie Flickinger, Hanover; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Isaac Stambaugh, Lewis, Del.; Theophilus Stambaugh and Harry Stambaugh, both of York, and a sister, Mrs. Mellie May, York, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Sauter funeral home, Spring Grove. The Rev. F. Elwood Moreland, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Spring Grove, will officiate. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow evening.
