Clair P. Stambaugh

Clair P. Stambaugh, 73, Hanover, died Friday at 7:50 a.m. at the Hanover General Hospital, where he was a patient the past two and a half weeks.

Born in Abbottstown, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Stambaugh. Mr. Stambaugh was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and Friendship Bible Class taught by Harold Rife.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John C. Kiick Sr., Ephrata, and Mrs. Belle Hafer, Abbottstown.

The Rev. Clifford R. Miller Jr., associate pastor at St. Matthew Church, Hanover, will officiate at the funeral service Monday at 2 p.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home, Hanover. Burial will be in Holtzschwamm (Paradise) Union Cemetery, near Thomasville.
