EAST BERLIN — Norman A. Stambaugh, 92, of Adams County Nursing Home, Gettysburg, formerly of East Berlin, died Wednesday at the home.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. today at the Scott B. Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, York. Viewing will be 12:30 to 1;30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Douglas E. Cromer, pastor of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Trinity Road, York RD 6.

Nettie A. Stambaugh of York died at 11:15 a.m. yesterday at the York Lutheran Home at Sprinkle Drive. She was 95.
Mrs. Stambaugh retired as an assembler in 1962, after nearly 20 years of employment, from the then McKay Chain Co., York. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and Sunday School, Jacobus; the Ladies Auxiliary of Lincolnway Fire Co.; and Chapter No. 24 of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Born in Springfield Township on Dec. 20, 1899, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Katie A. Stough Lentz. She was the wife of the late Norman Allan Stambaugh.
She leaves three sons, Preston Stambaugh, Carl Stambaugh, and William Stambaugh, all of York; five daughters, Treva Deardorff, Geraldine Shelley, and Florence Lankford, all of York, Edna McDonald, Lancaster, and Betty Airing, Dover; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ivan Lentz, Leader Heights, and Chauncey Lentz, Country Meadows at Leader Heights.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Paul L. Stambaugh, Earl Stambaugh, and Norman Stambaugh Jr.
Viewing is from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Road, Jacobus. The service is at 11 a.m. at the church, with her pastor, the Rev. George R. Knarr, officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
